Loch Fyne
Loch Fyne supply us with a range of products from
kippers to oysters. We are pleased to use them as a supplier not only
because of the very high quality but because they recognise the importance
of maintaining fish stocks and protecting the environment. They have
an excellent restaurant and shop in Argyll that we recommend,. If you
have the time, it is a very pleasant journey from Dollar to Loch Fyne
for lunch, please ask if you would like route details. Their products

Iain Mellis
Iain Mellis Cheesemongers supply us with Isle
of Mull Cheddar and Strathdon blue as well as other excellent Scottish
cheeses. Iain Mellis shops in Edinburgh, Glasgow & St Andrews are

Brodies
Brodies are a long established Edinburgh tea and
coffee merchant. We serve Scottish breakfast and afternoon teas along
with their Columbian Supremo coffee. Their products are available from
a number of retail outlets including the House of Bruar. Brodies recommend
Jenners of Edinburgh and the National Trust for Scotland as their retailers.

Mackies
Having never really liked ice cream, Esplin was
won over by Mackies. They have a herd of some 500 Jersey cows in Aberdeenshire
and produce some absolutely delicious flavours. Mackies ice creams are
on sale at the House of Bruar, and in Morrisons and Waitrose supermarkets.

Gordon & McPhail
Our lounge bar has some seventy single malts supplied
by Gordon & McPhail of Elgin. They have a great wine merchants and
deli in Elgin, definitely worth a visit - with a stock of hundreds of

Harviestoun Brewery
The most local of suppliers, the Harviestoun Brewery
is in Alva and in August 2003 its 'Bitter and Twisted' was voted the
best beer in Britain. 'B & T' is available on draught in the lounge
bar. A range of Harviestoun beers are available in supermarkets nationwide.
George Cockburn & Sons
George Cockburn & Sons supply us with our
excellent haggis and black pudding, both of which have won many awards.
If you live in the north of Scotland or are travelling there, we would
recommend a visit to their shop in Dingwall. Cockburns products can

Campbell Brothers
Virtually all our meat is supplied by Campbell
Brothers of Edinburgh, who are Royal Warrant Holders. They do not have
a retail service, however, the Aberdeen Angus supplied to us is from

George Campbell & Son (Fishmongers)
Since 1872 George Campbell & Sons have been
Edinburgh fishmongers and supply us with fresh fish and shell fish,
they have an excellent retail shop in Leith which is worth a visit.

Graham's Dairy
Graham's is the largest independent dairy in Scotland
and just down the road in Bridge of Allan, they supply us with locally
produced milk, cream and butter. Their dairy products are widely available
across central Scotland.
